Marine Officer – Amsterdam & Constanța

Job Overview

We are looking for a Marine Officer to join our team in Amsterdam or Constanța. This role provides administrative support to the Marine Department and serves as a key link between the office and onboard Masters. The ideal candidate will have a maritime background, strong coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Responsibilities:

Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate approvals for charts, publications, and technical library items
- Approve relevant forms in the company workflow
- Organize Marine Department presentations, webinars, and crew briefings
- Monitor vessel schedules and ensure alignment with commercial operations
- Support fleet safety initiatives and compliance with HSSE objectives
Coordination & Communication
- Act as a liaison between the Marine Department and onboard Masters
- Manage communication with agencies, charterers, and port service providers
- Oversee vessel certificates, flag administration, and regulatory compliance
- Track vessel passages, monitor weather conditions, and notify teams of potential risks
Project & Compliance Management
- Support company projects related to SMS, QHSE procedures, and marine regulations
- Ensure compliance with industry conventions, P&I club requirements, and new regulatory updates
- Assist with new vessel administration and transition processes

Requirements:

Marine Background: Minimum qualification as Radio Officer or Officer on Watch (STCW Reg. II/1 Unlimited)
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Radio Officer or OOW on seagoing vessels
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and manage documentation efficiently
English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills
Commitment & Availability: Ability to work under pressure and be available 24/7 when required
