Crewing Officer - Constanța - Trust Hr Pro Team

We are looking for a Crewing Officer.

Employer: Multinational Maritime Company

The Crewing Officer is responsible to manage all crew aspects onboard fleet vessels.

In charge of crew changes and to ensure they are done accordingly as per company policies and in the most economical and efficient way
Adhere to department policies
Close contact with the vessels as per company standards. Update the vessel in due time regarding crew change plans
Make travel arrangements for sea employees and superintendents
Update and maintain crew personal files
Ensure crew certificates are up to date and comply too all national regulations (STCW/Flag etc.) and company regulations
Visit vessels when practicable during their port stays and meet the crew on board
Monitor crew evaluations and performances. Follow up with crew manager in case the evaluation is below standards and also when seafarer is consistently very positive with promotion prospects
Verify and approve disbursement accounts (DA) from previous crew changed and crew department expenses as per invoice approval policy
Verify and approve soonest travel expenses as per company policies
First interview with job applicant
Create senior briefings according a planned schedule
Brief new team members regarding crew policies and procedures
Accountable for achieving the departmental objectives
