Job Description:
We are looking for a Technical Officer.
Employer: Multinational Maritime Company
The Technical Officer:
- provides administrative assistance in the activities, processes and projects as executed by the Technical Superintendents.
- have a big role with the internal communication inside the office and between the Technical department and the Captains on board.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Collect data from accounting department and Technical Superintendents for Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Management meeting reports. Edit the reports, send it to Technical Manager for review and approval. File in Share Point
- Edit the tasks in share Point for Technical department following Technical Manager Instructions (target dates and priorities).
- Collect data from the vessels for Quarterly lubricants consumption reports, save in Share Point after Technical Manager review/approve. Issue the trend analyses reports for Lubricants consumption and send to Technical Superintendents for review and comments. Notify Technical Manager for Non-conformities vessels/office
- Administrate the Weekly meeting plan and set up the schedule, edit weekly meetings report following Technical Superintendent’s guidance, update meeting files and folders on the network drive.
- Edit and/or receive and save Technical letters/advisory/circular letters/lubricants laboratory analyses reports and forward them to Captains. Ensure confirmation of receipt by the Captains and ensure proper and timely follow-up, saving all data and correspondence in SharePoint (SP). Inform Technical Manager for non-conformities
Qualifications and skills
- Experience as technical officer on vessels size GT>10000.
- Experience as technical officer on tankers
- Ability to work under pressure and 24/7 availability.
- Good English
