About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join the team at a lively and welcoming Irish pub in Navan. This establishment is known for its warm hospitality, delicious fare, refreshing drinks, and vibrant atmosphere. It’s a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.
Benefits & conditions:
- Competitive Pay: Starting at €14/hour, with a performance-based review after 90 days.
- Gratuities: Earn an estimated €50–€70 weekly in tips.
- Accommodation:
- Single room at €125/week (deducted from wages).
- Shared utility costs.
- Deposit required.
- Flexible Scheduling: Full-time (40–45 hours/week), with 5 days on and 2 days off (seasonal needs apply).
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons from diverse backgrounds.
- Handle cash and payment processing accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
- Be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What We’re Looking For:
- References from at least one previous job.
- Valid EU citizenship (due to work requirements).
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of beverages and mixing techniques.
- A friendly, professional demeanor and passion for hospitality.
